Badminton Place would like to nominate David Bath as our care champion this week. He is a big part of our team and a well-deserved care champion. David is head of the maintenance team and he oversees and leads on maintenance procedures and actions for the home, he implements and manages activities for any repairs of the building. He supervises and leads the department by assigning maintenance schedules, reporting progress, and tracking expenses.
David is well thought of at the home and all the team never have a bad word to say about him as he is always smiling, helpful, and will help anyone in any department even if he has a busy workload himself. He is always professional and has an excellent attitude with the team and our residents, he is very happy to assist others and is always accurate and persistent with any task.
David is extremely technical, and detail orientated and can work very quickly under pressure and demands, he is physical and oozes versatility. The main thing for Dave is he really cares about Badminton Place and the residents and he wants to do the very best he can for the home. He is a pleasure to work with as he is positive and such a supportive person to have as part of the Badminton team.

There is not a better feeling for our ladies and gents than a little pamper session.
We would like to nominate Abbie Ward as our care champion this week. She shows so much passion, dedication, and hard work and we are extremely fortunate to have her as part of the Badminton team.
Abbie is a fabulous person and provides a beautiful aura around the home each day, she makes everyone happy with her gregarious nature and glowing smile. She is definitely 'one in a million’ and has become experienced in many departments.
Abbie is very kind and considerate, and nothing is too much trouble, she is always smiling and helpful and cares for others. Abbie is forever asking if everyone is ok and supports anyone that needs help. She is a great role model and an integral part of the Badminton team. Abbie is conscientious and dependable, always carrying out any tasks to the very best of her ability. She is calm and reacts responsively, whatever the situation. Abbie has a positive attitude and is determined to make a difference to all our residents’ lives.

Janet, one of our lovely residents is leaving us on Thursday and it's her Birthday this Sunday . Our events team thought she has to have a Birthday cake and also a big celebration before she leaves us tomorrow.
